I'm always torn between wanting to spend time on amazing nail art, and knowing that it will be chipped in only a few days. This nail art is the best of both worlds! It only takes a few minutes to do, it looks amazing, and is easy to touch up when it starts getting chipped. This nail look is one of my favorites because it looks great for formal occasions, and adds something special to casual days.
Step 1. Trim and file your nails, push back your cuticles if you want, and apply your favorite base coat.
Step 2. Using two pieces of tape make a thin line of bare nail between the tape, then swipe your nail with a line of clear polish.
Step 3. Dip a clean brush into some glitter and gently tap the brush on your nail. The glitter should fall off the brush and completely cover the line.
Step 4. Remove the tape and wait for the glitter line to dry. Then cover the entire nail in a top coat.
