3D PAPER SWAN

Hosting a Valentine's (or Galentine's) Day party this year? Stand out from the usual hearts and lips with a swan themed party! These DIY 3D paper swans are the perfect addition to any party that will make guests swoon (or should I say swan?) with delight.

I've been obsessed with swans ever since I visited England and saw swans swimming at Hampton Court and many of the other palaces in London. Since swans also symbolize love and romance, I figured there wasn't a better DIY to create this Valentine's Day!

Step 1. Print off the 3D Swan Template, and cut out the pieces. Then curl back the feathers a little by wrapping them slightly around a pencil.
Step 2. Color in the beak and use glue to attach the layers of the swan wings to the body.
Step 3. Wrap the tab around and glue or tape it behind the other half of the body. Then glue or tape the top of the body to the other side, and do the same with the head and neck.

These paper swans look great as placecards on the table, and can also be integrated into the party in several different ways. Have several swans swimming on top of a cake, scattered around the table, or on top of cupcakes. How will you use these paper swans?
